Subject: Question concerning Turkish in the US

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am contacting you with a few questions hoping that you could help me. My name is Katja Zehrfeld from studyturkce.com. Studyturkce.com is a young project based in Istanbul. We are specialized in producing a wide range of Turkish language textbooks. Our goal is to help people improve their Turkish, as well as provide books for them to derive the pleasure from reading texts in Turkish language. The books include Grammar-in-Use Books with lots of exercises and texts, vocabulary developers with plenty exercises, games, and quizzes, and Easy Readers with a huge collection of Turkish Fairy Tales, Anatolian Myths, Contemporary Turkish Short Stories, Turkish Biographies, Who is Who, Turkish and the News, and various other texts. Our material aims to broaden the understanding and knowledge of Turkish history, society, and politics. Working with the Easy Readers will increase the awareness of the history, culture and language of Turkey.

My question now is if there is a possibility that your organization can help us by becoming more know in the US? Could your organization use our books? Would it be interesting for you? How can our material be distributed in the US? We just started distributing our books within the European market but would like to draw Turkish people's and students' of Turkish language attention in the US to us. We would like to reach Turkish people and families in the US helping them to keep the Turkish or rather improve the Turkish language. Fairy tales or short stories, for example, can be read at children's activities, and our books can be offered in workshops or other social events.

If you have any suggestion how to help us, please contact me. I would be glad about any advice.

Please, have a look at www.studyturkce.com.

Best regards,

Katja Zehrfeld
