[Daughters_of_Ataturk] Mural of St. Sophia

Dear Margaret Addison:

 

In response to your claim that it is alright to have a mural in the American Airlines Terminal of St. Sophia (Aya Sofya) representing Istanbul without its minarets:

 

These minarets were added to the original structure at the start of the six centuries that it was used as a mosque. May I ask you how, we, as Americans, would feel if the Statue of Liberty representing the United States was depicted abroad without the torch in her hand?
